Messiah was dead. Messiah was buried. Messiah was gone.
At least that’s what everybody thought.
And who could blame them? After all, how can anyone come back from the dead?
It all comes down to the resurrection. It’s what separates Christianity from all other religions ~ the empty tomb. It’s what separates Jesus from all other religious leaders ~ the empty tomb.
You have hope today. (Yes, I’m talking to you.) And the disciples would have had it, too, that day long ago after Crucifixion Friday and before Easter Sunday if they’d listened to the words of Jesus and believed in who He was. (Luke 24:25-26)
Indeed, He is the Savior of the world.
Indeed, He forgives the sins of those who trust in Him. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Beatiful post. Without the resurrection our faith is void. What sadens me is so many call it easter. Why not call it Resurrection Sunday? As believers we certainly don’t place our faith in easter but in the power of a risen Messiah! This should be fact/ myth #11 🙂
