I listened to Tiger Woods’ apology for his adulteries (as some of you might have). He said he was sorry for hurting his wife. He said he was sorry for hurting his mother. He said he was sorry for hurting his fans. He said he was in rehab. He said he would never do it again. He said he was returning to Buddhism for help. He said a lot of things that people say when they get caught in a sin. However, the fact remains: Left to ourselves, “Pharoah” can not be broken. There are some things that we can’t handle/conquer on our own. To overcome the world, the flesh and the devil, one must turn to Christ. Brit Hume of Fox News said it (HERE) and was excoriated. Some reading this post won’t like that I’m saying it either. The only hope for a Tiger is a Lion (of the tribe of Judah). He (Jesus) is your only hope, too. “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21) “‘Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden (with sin), and I will give you rest (forgiveness).'” (Matthew 11:28) “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness.” (Psalm 30:11)
