Discouraged. Disgusted. Despairing. Dirty. Down. (Pause) Strike three. You’re out. Game over. (Pause again) Bridge burned. Thrown away. Rejected. Betrayed. Divorced. Bitter. (Pause one more time.) Sad. Lonely. Set aside. Overlooked.
