The 7 Deadly Sins of Twitter

Just like in real (offline) life, there are sins that take place online. I’m talking about on Twitter in particular as I’ve spent the bulk of my time using this social media platform. (I think it’s the best of all, by the way. Pinterest is up and coming in my mind and will equal it soon.)

Jealousy. Simply, somebody has a lot of followers and you don’t.

Misjudgment. If there’s one thing that happens to Pastors, it’s that they’re judged and misjudged all the time. In the wrong kind of judging (condemned in Scripture), a person “projects” their own guilt over sin on to another. By holding them accountable, they are “expiated.” It is cathartic to the “judge.” It buttresses their sinful nature. (There is a right kind of judging.)
