“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.” (Luke 12:32)
And so what if it’s all true? What if it’s all really turning out for good?
What if the pain you’re dealing with right now ~ what if the heartache, the hurt, the sadness, the sorrow ~ what if all of it really is producing an eternal weight of glory far surpassing anything imaginable or comprehensible? (2 Corinthians 4:17)
Could joy be rekindled? Could hope be restored?
Might you be able to go on? Might you be able to endure?
“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” (Hebrews 12:2-3)
