1. Forget that rejection is a part of life (everyone faces it).
2. Do everything possible to avoid it (people-please, compromise values).
3. Live in its shadow (dungeon) many years after it happens.
4. Too often reject rather than accept others (unable to overlook imperfections).
5. Miss that it might be God’s tool to protect from a wrong relationship.
6. Miss that it might be God’s tool to steer clear of a wrong path.
7. Aren’t merciful to “rejects” (the poor, homeless).
8. Condemn (look down their nose at) “rejects.”
9. Don’t realize that anyone who comes to God He will in no way reject. (John 6:37)
10. Never go back to say they’re sorry for wrongful rejection of someone (a parent, a brother/sister, etc).
