10 Mistakes People Make with Hell (plus 1 bonus):

1. Don’t believe Hell exists. (Luke 16:23)
2. Think if they don’t talk about Hell, it will just go away (what you don’t know can’t hurt you?).
3. Don’t realize the Son of God talking about Hell confirms its existence. (Mark 9:43-48)
4. Bad-mouth, belittle ministers/pastors who speak about Hell (in their hearts?).
5. Have never considered that they might be on the path to Hell (Proverbs 14:12; Matthew 7:13).
6. Don’t realize it is a place of consciousness, burning, torment and judgment of those who refuse to believe in Jesus Christ. (Luke 16:23-24; 28-31)
7. Wonder why a loving God would send people to Hell (God doesn’t; people choose to go there). (Genesis 3:4-6)
8. De-emphasize the gravity of the danger of Hell (false teachers do). (2 Timothy 4:3-4)
9. Would rather be with all their friends there (Heaven is where relationships are; you are alone in Hell). (Revelation 7:9; Matthew 22:13)
10. Forget to take advantage of the way of escape. (Romans 10:9-10; 13)

BONUS Don’t understand there is more than one Hell (Sheol, Hades, Tartarus, Gehenna/lake of fire). (Psalm 139:8; Luke 16:23; 2 Peter 2:4; Matthew 10:28)
