10 Mistakes People Make with Antichrist (plus 1 bonus):
1. Are ignorant of the fact that it’s a wicked “spirit,” too (spirit of the age/world), that overtakes men and women who oppose Jesus Christ. (1 John 4:3)
2. Have no idea that in the last days the spirit of antichrist will be manifest in a physical man. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4: Revelation 13:1-7a)
3. Don’t realize Antichrist will be Satan’s masterpiece, a “copy” of Jesus Christ.
4. Don’t understand that the Holy Spirit is currently holding Antichrist back from appearing (but not for much longer). (2 Thessalonians 2:5-6)
5. Fail to grasp that the majority of the population will follow him who are overcome by a spirit of delusion. (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12)
6. Fail to recognize that he may even attempt a counterfeit of Christ’s resurrection. (Revelation 13:3)
7. Are ignorant of the fact that Antichrist’s appearance will coincide with and take place during a time of great decline of the church and abandoning of the faith by many. (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
8. Don’t realize he will make a 7-year peace treaty with Israel (many are convinced). (Daniel 9:27a)
9. Forget that Antichrist will not allow anyone to operate economically except that he take the mark of the beast (666). (Revelation 13:16-18)
10. Overlook Antichrist’s main goal which is to be worshiped in the place of God and as God. (2 Thessalonians 2:4; Mark 13:14)
BONUS Forget that Jesus Christ Himself will step back into history to dispose of and do away with Antichrist once and for all. (2 Thessalonians 2:8; Revelation 19:11, 19-20)
