10 Mistakes People Make with Politics and Religion (plus 1 bonus):
1. Vote based on a person’s charisma or words or looks rather than their record.
2. Put any single politician (or group of politicians) in the place of God. (Exodus 20:3)
3. Completely remove themselves from the political process (and you wonder why the nation is going to H-E double hockey sticks? – pardon my French).
4. Put color of skin above content of character when choosing who to vote for (don’t forget Dr. Martin Luther King’s famous “I Have A Dream” speech).
5. Complain about bad governmental policies while forgetting they voted for the person(s) who enacted the policies.

9. Believe the falsehood that the idea of separation of church and state is in the Constitution (no, it was written in a letter from Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists).
10. Neglect praying for those in authority and high office. (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
BONUS Refuse to submit to governmental authorities and laws (whether through criminality or insubordination) when they have been put in place by God Himself. (Romans 13:1-7)
